The Three D’s of Community Associations: Developer, Directors & Documents is a FREE 3-hour L&J continuing education course intended for community association managers. Students will explore the obligations of the developers creating community associations and the transition preparations for the first owner-elected board members. Students will identify, compare, and contrast the roles and duties of the directors and officers of corporations that operate community associations. Students also will learn to distinguish between the different legal documents that regulate such organizations and common interest communities.
