Michael’s practice focuses on Community Association Litigation, Insurance Defense Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Contract Litigation. His work includes restrictive covenant enforcement, community association issues and defense, directors and officers liability defense, premises liability, insurance coverage disputes, title disputes, construction litigation, contract disputes, commercial litigation, business disputes, creditors’ rights, personal injury and other litigated matters.
Industry Experience
Michael is a trial attorney, with a transactional background as well, who has represented plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of litigation matters. Prior to joining Lazega & Johanson, Michael practiced at a private local government firm representing multiple municipalities, school districts, and other authorities throughout metro Atlanta. During his time there he engaged with local mayors and council, governing boards and committees, and department heads as they worked to serve their citizens, providing a great background for understanding and engaging with Property Owner and Condominium Boards to effectively and efficiently serve their interests.
