Originally from South Florida, Casey received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia and attended Mercer University School of Law. His practice focuses on Community Association Litigation, Insurance Defense Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Commercial Litigation. His work includes restrictive covenant enforcement, community association issues and defense, directors and officers liability defense, premises liability, insurance coverage disputes, title disputes, construction litigation, contract disputes, business disputes, creditors’ rights, and other litigated matters.
Industry Experience
Prior to joining Lazega & Johanson, Casey practiced in litigation and transactional attorney groups, handling title curative cases, property disputes, and foreclosure transactions and issues for a real estate law firm in Georgia. Additionally, Casey previously spent time handling securities issues and investigating insider trading and breach of fiduciary duty claims for the United States Securities & Exchange Commission’s Atlanta Office.
